Wood Choices

Country Mouldings offers mouldings, stair treads and butcher blocks in a variety of wood species. Only FAS and Select grade lumber is used. If you don't see your desired wood below, contact us. There is a good chance we will have it.

Many love the flaked grain of this type of Red Oak. Quartersawn Red Oak has a sapwood color that is white to light brown and the heartwood has warm reddish brown tones. Quartersawn Red Oak is available for all casings, baseboards, crowns and other mouldings. Quartersawn Red Oak is also available for all stair treads, risers and other stair parts, as well as butcher blocks and most other products.
