Prefinished Poplar Butcher Block Countertop
Poplar has a creamy white sapwood color, while the heartwood varies from pale yellowish brown to olive green. Poplar is generally straight grained with a medium to fine texture, durable, shock resistant, and highly stable.
Prefinished Poplar wood butcher block countertops are available in any size up to 4-1/2" thick, 84" wide and 180" long. Choose from conversion varnish or food safe mineral oil. This picture shows a butcher block prefinished with our conversion varnish. A butcher block treated with mineral oil will be similar in appearance. |
