Prefinished Hickory Butcher Block Countertop
Hickory is the hardest and the strongest american wood. Hickory heartwood is pale to reddish brown while sapwood is white. Hickory is coarse textured with fine grain that is normally straight but can be wavy or irregular.
Prefinished Hickory wood butcher block countertops are available in any size up to 4-1/2" thick, 84" wide and 180" long. Choose from conversion varnish or food safe mineral oil. This picture shows a butcher block prefinished with our conversion varnish. A butcher block treated with mineral oil will be similar in appearance. |
