Country Mouldings Story

In 1977, a local woodworking business was started. It was a one man, part time operation. In the late 80's, a decision was made to partner with another highly skilled woodworker and expand the operation. A molder was purchased and a shop built. At this time, the focus was primarily on high quality trim. In 1998, the partnership was dissolved and a 6000 square foot building was constructed. Woodworkers from the local Amish community were hired and the business grew. A year later, another 10,000 square foot building was added. Product lines were expanded to include countertops and stair parts. New, state of the art equipment was purchased and the business flourished. The business gained a reputation locally for producing wood products of the highest quality.

In 2008, a sister company was formed, Country Mouldings LLC, with the purpose of bringing these wood products nationwide. A website was built to showcase the products. User friendliness and ease of ordering are top priorities. Since then, we have built a strong national reputation of offering the best quality products at very competitive prices. We sell direct to homeowners, builders, contractors and anyone else interested in high end products.
